Luke‬ ‭16:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus spoke about unjust stewardship. Everything that we have here on earth will be accounted for and how we manage our earthly possessions matters.

Everything we have is a gift from God, we may have worked for it, given to us by someone or inherited it from our forefathers.

Therefore, we do have to give account of how we handle what we have in our lives.

More important than that, Jesus spoke about what we have received in the spirit. His kingdom and His righteousness that is in us through Christ.

Jesus said if we can’t handle natural wealth well, how are we going to handle supernatural wealth that we have in Christ.

Therefore, everything we do naturally is important as it reflects our spiritual lifestyle and our spiritual belief.

What we can see is temporary but what we cannot see is eternal. God gives us natural gifts to practice so that we will become good stewards of His supernatural gifts.

Jesus said if we cannot be faithful in an unrighteousness mammon, how can we be entrusted with true riches that is in Christ Jesus?

Just like we are stewards of what we have received in the natural, we are also called to be stewards of what we have received in the supernatural.

Let us be faithful in what the Lord has placed before us. Let us do our best and step up beyond the call of duty.

Let us do it as our own, taking ownership by building God’s kingdom and for His glory.

Blessings
