“And when they had entered, they went up into the upper room where they were staying: Peter, James, John, and Andrew; Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew; James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot; and Judas the son of James.”

After the disciples watched Jesus ascension, they journeyed back from mount called Olivet, they return home and entered the upper room to pray. There they were in one accord praying.

After such journey the disciples did not find a place to rest but a place to pray. For the heard the word’s of Jesus to wait to receive and be empowered by the Holy Spirit.

These words of Jesus must have been burning in the hearts of the disciples because they continued daily in one accord believing and waiting.

When a group of people desire something, wanting something and yearning for something to happen, they won’t stop to rest until they see the manifestation of God and His power.

As a believer in Christ Jesus we are blessed to receive not just all the promises but the Holy Spirit and God’s entire kingdom within us.

The Holy Spirit of God now dwells within us, desiring to empower us to rule and reign with Him.

Are we in one accord in seeking the kingdom of God, are we in one accord to fulfilling God’s purpose in our lives and are desiring to follow God all the days of our lives?

These are important questions that will help us to come back to the kingdom of God and live life to fulfil His purpose.

We will eliminate excuses and reasons if we desperately need something very important.

Fulfilling our call and purpose is the ultimate goal, by doing so we will enjoy the fullness that God had prepared for us all.

Let’s join our heart’s and mind’s to be in one accord with the Holy Spirit, walking in His word and fulfilling our assignment here on earth for His kingdom.
