The word of God is so important for us as believers. God gave us His word so that every part of us will be equipped with every part of Him.
The word of God shows us who our Heavenly Father is and helps us to follow His ways.
God wants each of His children to be equipped thoroughly so that in every test of life we will remain standing in Him.
When we are thoroughly equipped by giving ourselves to be changed, transformed in our hearts and minds then every actions is going to bring glory to our Father in heaven.
There are many good works that we can do but when we do it the way the Father would do, it will last forever and the message we preach with our life will continue for generations.
The first ingredient to be thoroughly equipped is to acknowledge that we need to be equipped.
If we think what we have is enough and don’t need anymore then what we have, we have robbed ourselves of the privilege to be equipped.
The better we get equipped with the word of God, the greater we reveal Jesus and our Father to the world.
Every word of God that equips us is the best investment we can put into our lives.
His word is eternal and we are made for eternity. Therefore, let us get ourselves equipped by His word and glorify our Father in heaven.
