Paul once again talked about how some are preaching the gospel with selfish ambitions, twisting the words for personal gain and aiming to add affliction to Paul's sufferings.

Yet Paul said that their foolishness and self-centred preaching have caused Jesus Christ to be publicised.

And it has caused many hearts and minds to be opened to search for the truth.

Paul’s faithfulness to remain in preaching the Gospel even when things were not going well, has in the end brought greatness to the message of the gospel.

What we have heard from Paul has been tried, challenged and proven to be the absolute truth.

Today many preach the gospel for selfish ambitions, self-promotion and pride.

Unfortunately, many have turned away from the gospel because of what mankind has interpreted for their gain.

But the truth is the truth and to move away from it is walking away from our true blessing.

We are to hold on, we are to be steadfast, we are to stand faithful to walk in what Christ has established.

It is important to hold fast otherwise who is going to stand for the gospel?

We are called and have been appointed by God to hold on to the gospel and establish His kingdom in this world.

Paul was not only appointed to preach the true gospel but also to defend it.

We too are called to preach and defend what Christ Jesus has established for us.

Let us keep sharing the gospel and keep speaking the truth to the world.
