Matthew‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy of his food.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

These are the words of Jesus to his disciples as He sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal their infirmities.

He told them not to prepare for themselves their personal needs.

As His workers, we will always be taken care of by God according to His riches and according to His glory.

God’s word says that we are worthy to have our needs met.

This caused His disciples to put their faith to only trust God for their provision.

We must not allow ourselves to ponder on what we need but to ponder on God who is so good to us.

He will lead, guide and show us the abundance he has prepared for us.

Our motive to serve is not to be sustained or to look for sustenance but to speak the kingdom of God and carry out the works of Christ.

We must not be diverting from our focus and our mission to reach the lost.

God has covered all our needs, stored it all up and as we go and do His work, we will also walk into our provision.

Let us not worry, doubt or be fearful about our personal needs for they have been taken care of.

Therefore, let us be bold in following the Holy Spirit and spreading the good news of the Kingdom of God.

Blessings
