II Thessalonians 1:3 NKJV
“We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other,”
II Thessalonians 1:3 NKJV
Paul encouraged and commended the believers in Thessalonica of their faith that reflects growth in Christ.
This tells us that the faith we have received from God can grow and take over every fear, doubt and unbelief that there is in our lives.
How does faith grow? It grows when we switch from walking by sight, by what we have in the natural and start walking by faith which is unseen and call those things that are not as though they are.
We start changing our decisions from following the conditions we are in to following God’s word and His promises.
The faith that God has put in us is designed to grab hold of our true life that is found in Christ Jesus.
The life that Christ has ordained for us is far above what we could ever ask or think.
Therefore, we have to live by faith in order to see the manifestation of that blessings.
The measure of our growth is dependent on our personal effort, bringing every part of us to be conformed to Christ and His image.
God spoke everything into existence. Out of nothing He spoke everything into being.
We too need to speak by faith, believe by faith and live by faith so that we too can see the unseen manifest.
Paul also commended the Thessalonians of their godly love for each other, reflecting Christ in their community.
Let us keep growing in faith by trusting God and His word above what we can touch, feel and see.
