“because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel,”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Paul gave thanks to God for the knowledge of the gospel that they had received from hearing the truth.

This truth reveals the abundance of God in all who believed in Jesus Christ.

The hope that we have in Christ is so glorious and so powerful.

That glory cannot be attained by any work of man nor by making any sacrifice except the sacrifice of the Son of the Living God.

There is so much God has laid up for the saints and most of it has not been discovered because of the lack of knowledge.

We can have all the power in the world put in us but if we don’t know that we have them, we will not be able to use that power.

Ignorance of what we have through Christ will cause us to become victims instead of victors.

The hope we have in Christ is so glorious that if we keep changing our hearts and minds according to the truth, we will see God’s glory revealed in and through our lives.

Let us take time to see what is the hope of our calling and what are the riches of God’s glory that is in the saints.
