“As in water face reflects face, So a man’s heart reveals the man.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭27‬:‭19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Such a profound truth as water reflects the image, so does a man’s heart reveal the man.

This means if our heart gets in the junk of the world, the philosophies of the world and the ways of the world, then we are going to reflect that in our lives.

If we open our hearts to the things of this world, we are not going to see the things of God reflected in our lives.

David, a man after God’s heart said that he hides God’s word in his heart so that he won’t sin against God.

If our hearts are after God, then we will reflect God in our lives.

Many people ask how can I reflect God who is holy and pure.

The first truth is that we were made in God’s image and likeness.

The second truth is that we are pure and holy in Christ. If we keep meditating in our hearts, then we will reflect God’s nature through our lives.

Many want to try living holy, but that is wrong. We just need to have a heart after God, after His word and His ways.

The rest will be manifested from our hearts. The work we put in is to carry out all that Christ has done.

Let us filter what goes into our hearts. Filter what we watch, hear and see.

Take in God and spit out the world and its system. Plant God’s word and see it grow and produce fruits that last.

It is time to uproot those wrong beliefs, wrong images and traditions that tell us we are nothing.

In Christ, we are the light and salt of this earth. Let us not belittle what Christ has crowned us with.

Let us keep feeding our hearts with the image of God.
