“But as God is faithful, our word to you was not Yes and No.”

‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Here in this verse, Paul was accused by some in the Corinthian church that he was not keeping his word.

But Paul says here that whatever he says is not in any way to manipulate or to impose his agenda but he does it all for God and His glory.

Paul says that whenever he says YES, it is a firm yes and NO is a firm no. He does not compromise God’s word no matter what the circumstances may look like.

Paul was obedient to do what God had called him to do. Therefore, his integrity is sound and his stand is in the truth of God’s word.

Our words and actions are no longer about ourselves. We all are representatives of God here on earth.

People are watching us all the time but we don’t have to be worried about that.

What we need to be doing is displaying God’s word with integrity.

God has graced us with His power and grace to stand in His integrity.

The way we live needs to give confidence to people that they can trust us as people who will hold on to our words.

If we have made promises that are not godly or against God’s principles, then we don’t have to stand up for it but apologise and not need to carry out those things.

Our integrity has to be according to God and his character.

All we need to do is to stand with integrity and mean what we say and do to one another as we have said.

Let us lift our eyes unto Jesus and live with integrity.

Blessings
