‭‭‭‭Acts‬ ‭7‬:‭60‬ ‭NKJV

Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not charge them with this sin.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep.”

‭‭Acts‬ ‭7‬:‭60‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Stephen was stoned to death for preaching the gospel and his last words before he died was forgiving those who stoned him.

What an amazing reflection of Christ, when Jesus was on the cross, He said to forgive them for they didn’t know what they were doing.

Stephen reflected Jesus before his enemies till his last breath

Stephen’s confidence and assurance of Christ's teaching were not just in his mind but was in every part of him.

His passion for the lost and standing for the truth did not waver when he was challenged.

He became the first martyr for preaching Jesus Christ as Lord.

Stephen was one among the first group of deacons that the disciples chose to help distribute food to the widows.

He was a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit that reflected Jesus throughout his life.

Stephen gave his life to tell people to come to Christ and live in Him.

We are all called to share Christ and let people know that Jesus Christ is Lord.

We may be called an electrician, doctor, pastor, or managing the house and family as our daily work.

But we all still can reflect Jesus and share Jesus with everyone.

Let this passion and faithfulness of Stephen stir us up for God and start to live life intentionally to reflect Christ Jesus our Lord.

Let us take every opportunity that comes our way to proclaim Jesus and His kingdom to all mankind.

Let us be bold to speak about Jesus and give people the opportunity to hear the gospel of His kingdom.

Blessings
