For from you the word of the Lord has sounded forth, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place. Your faith toward God has gone out, so that we do not need to say anything.

Paul reconnected and encouraged the people in Thessalonica through this letter after fleeing from persecution in that place.

But the church grew so strong that they not only did well but became a model to follow Jesus.

Their life in Christ and their faith in all that Jesus has done echoed to many places.

The word of God was manifested and became part of them. They stood the test of persecution and remained faithful to the teachings of Christ.

The word of God was not only in letters but they became the word that displayed God and His love to the community.

We have the same power, love and grace to shine forth Jesus in this world.

Let our lives be a reflection of Jesus and His love towards all mankind. Desiring to be the living word of God.

That we may take every thing that Christ has done and write them on our hearts so that what comes out of us will be His glory.

Every pressure is not to set us back, every unjust done must not cause us to turn away but cause us to pursue Christ even stronger till the end.

Let us encourage each other to be the living word of God that displays God's glory on this earth.
