Matthew 21:20 NKJV
“And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither away so soon?””
Matthew 21:20 NKJV
The disciples had seen so many miracles and knew by then that everything Jesus says comes to pass, yet they marvelled that it happened so quickly.
The disciples knew that what Christ says will come to pass but that truth has not fully sunken down deep into their hearts and minds yet.
This is why we need to keep hearing and hearing the word (Christ) of God over and over again so that what we hear becomes one in us and not something we just know about.
Many know that Christ has finished His work in this world and appointed His Church to fully establish His kingdom here on earth.
But when we start praying, generally we tend to ask God to do it, God to work it and for God to perform it.
The scripture is clear of the power He gave to His church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Yet how many believe and pray according to the truth?
Are our thoughts and responses in line with what Christ has done?
These are important questions to ask so that we can intentionally align ourselves with Christ’s finished work.
We should start changing our words in alignment to all that Christ has done for every situation.
Let us live out the word of Christ and demonstrate His power by faith.
Let us stand strong and let the world marvel at what Christ has done for the entire human race to see.
So that they may come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
