Acts‬ ‭26‬:‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’”

‭‭Acts‬ ‭26‬:‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Paul spoke before Festus and King Agrippa. He defended himself and gave them an account of many things that took place from being a Pharisee to an Apostles of Christ.

Here in this verse, Paul shared his encounter and the words Jesus spoke to him on the road to Damascus.

Paul received the same promises that were given to all believers. Paul received the same Jesus all believers received.

Paul was able to do what he did and became one of the most influential Apostles of the New Testament because he believed that Jesus gave him the power to set people free by the gospel.

Paul believed and lived a life of freeing people, opening their spiritual eyes, and teaching them to live by the new covenant and to be the one to work out the power in each believer.

Paul did not pray and asked God to send revival.

Paul did not pray that God will open the eyes of the people.

Paul opened their eyes with the truth of God’s word and by the power of God’s Spirit.

He did not pray for God to deliver people who are oppressed by satan but he delivered them by the power of God.

The gospel that Paul received is the same gospel that Jesus gave, that no weapon formed against us shall prosper and God’s kingdom is now established in each believer of Christ.

Paul did not pray about the word, he lived it. He did not look for confirmation concerning what God was speaking. He just did what Jesus told him to do.

We carry the same power, the same promise, and the same gospel. The difference is are we asking God to do what He told us to do? Paul did not ask God to do it but did what God told him to do.

Let us just do everything that Christ has given and commissioned us to do.

Blessings
