Luke 23:51 NKJV

He had not consented to their decision and deed. He was from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, who himself was also waiting for the kingdom of God.

Luke 23:51 NKJV

Joseph from Arimathea is a secret follower of Jesus. He did not voice out about Jesus as he might be one of the council of high priest or a member of the Sanhedrin.

Perhaps Joseph of Arimathea knew about the coming of Christ and secretly followed the sequence of event in Jesus's life.

When everyone is hiding on the morning of Jesus's death, Joseph stepped in to do his part to fulfil the scriptures.

There are no coincidences in the word of God. Every word is set for the kingdom of God to be established.

A heart that is set for the kingdom of God will always step in for Christ and all that Christ Jesus has done for the world.

When the time came for Joseph to do his part, he boldly stood up and did it for the kingdom of God.

When we take time to know God and His promises, it will give us clarity as to what we are required to do in the kingdom of God.

The Holy Spirit of God in us will lead and guide our path if we take the first step of faith in Christ Jesus.

We are to prepare our heart

and mind for our role in the kingdom of God specifically and corporately.

God has called us individually to do something only we can do individually and God has also called us corporately as His body to do things corporately.

Waiting in the kingdom of God is progressive and not passive. Waiting in the kingdom of God means preparing, strategizing, refreshing our heart and mind for the next step to move in faith.

Let us take our place individually as Joseph and let us also join forces corporately for the kingdom of God.

Blessings
