John‬ ‭5‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”

Jesus saw the condition of this man which was so obvious to all as he had been sick for thirty-eight years.

Jesus asked a question, "Would you want to be healed knowing that he sat there for that many years waiting to be healed?"

The answer this man gave was the reason why he could not be healed.

Sometimes we too fall into the thoughts of giving reasons why we are not getting healed or the reason why we are not getting breakthroughs in life.

Faith is neutral.

We can have faith in why it will not happen or we can have faith in believing it will happen.

Just like the sick man who came and sat there for a miracle but was filled with doubts and the reason why it will not happen to him.

We come to church and meetings looking for breakthroughs but have preconceived ideas of why it will not happen to us.

The answer Jesus was looking for from the sick man was “Yes, I want to be healed.” or "No, I don’t want to be healed."

Anything else is a clutter that distracts our faith in receiving our miracles.

Jesus is the Healer, Restorer, Provider, and Saviour and if we come to Him, we must come with a singleness of mind to get what we believe for.

Let us believe Jesus and all that He has done for us and without a doubt say yes and amen to the miracles we need in life.
