Acts‬ ‭22‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“I am indeed a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, taught according to the strictness of our fathers’ law, and was zealous toward God as you all are today.”

Paul, who was known as Saul of Tarsus explained to believers who think that Paul brought division to the law.

Paul brought clarity between living under the law and under grace. Living by the letter versus living the word of God, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Paul became a persecutor of the way. He came against those who believe in Jesus.

The law kills but the Spirit gives life. What Paul was studying under Gamaliel only gave him a natural understanding of the law.

Paul could not see the meaning that is hidden in God’s word before, but after he was filled with the power of God’s Spirit he became an effective minister of the gospel.

If we take everything by just the letter and have no revelation of what God is trying to show us by His Spirit, we become a hindrance to growth, to maturity, and even be found fighting against God.

Every word of God is alive, active, and powerful to help us LIVE the life of God.

Jesus said some will see yet cannot see because they are seeing in the natural. Though they see it they cannot perceive what the Holy Spirit is speaking to them.

Every time we see it and understand it through the Holy Spirit, that revelation will always cause us to walk as God wants us to walk.

To walk in His image and in His likeness, to walk in the spirit and not in the flesh and to worship Him in the spirit and not according to the flesh.

Real change changes from the inside out and it happens when we have the revelation of God’s word and live life by the power of His Spirit.

Let us desire to live life in the Spirit of God and live in His power and glory.
