Acts 6:8 NKJV

And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and signs among the people.

Acts 6:8 NKJV

Stephen and the other 6 believers were appointed by the disciples to wait on tables, to help to look after the widows and food distribution.

Just like everyone else, Stephen received Christ and was baptised in the Spirit and there was nothing extraordinary that he received.

But the Bible records that Stephen did great wonders and signs among the people.

The faith Stephen had in Christ is a total confidence in what Christ has commanded us all to do.

Stephen helped out with the food distribution to the widows but that did not stop him from living the great commission.

Our work, position or title does not determine the manifestation of God's power. Our faith in Christ does.

Just like Stephen, we have received from Jesus the same power, grace and the Holy Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead which is in us and is ready to be manifested when we step out in faith.

We are who God says we are and we should not shortchange ourselves because of our situation, feeling or position.

We must put our trust in what God has said, believe and act on His word.

We have received a full measure of everything we need in Christ Jesus to carry out the great commission.

Let us put our complete trust in Jesus Christ and fulfil our destiny in Him.

Blessings
