But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses, II Corinthians 6:4 NKJV

Disciples commending themselves of being ministers of God. It's important to stand strong without wavering so that we can be a good witness to others. The disciples are not commending of how great they are in themselves but how they have stayed focus on the things that God has spoken. When the storm hit their lives, when persecution came their way, they stood strong till the end. Because of that, they stand as models for us today. True faith is always tested and proven when storms of life hit us. It's easy to stay focused when everything is going well. But when storms come, it will show what kind of foundation we have built our life upon. The disciples have proven and put their faith to the test and stood strong. This goes the same for us. We are a model to all around us, an example for many to follow. The breakthrough and miracle only happens when we pursue it till the end. When we stand strong, others can follow our footsteps as we follow Christ. When we are tried, in need or in distress, we can show the next generation how to keep focused on Christ. Holding on to Jesus till the end is powerful and encouraging because we can actually see and experience the glory of God. So let us keep our eyes on Jesus and pull through life in the resurrection power of Christ. Blessings Ambrose Francis
