This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. John 15:12 NKJV

The commandment that Jesus was talking about in this chapter is about loving one another. This is the second commandment that we have received. We need to step out in faith and love one another with the same love we have received from Him. We are to bear the fruit of love towards one another. True love for God will lead us to love one another. When we abide in God, we take upon His image and His likeness. By loving Him, we develop a lifestyle of loving one another. How do we love God? How do we express our gratitude towards Him besides saying how grateful we are towards Him? To return God's love is to love one another. This is what our Father in heaven desires. The overwhelming love of God will always flow when we carry out what is in His heart. God the Father sent His Son to die for us. He leaves the ninety-nine and goes after the one. If we truly love the Father, we would truly love one another. For by this the Bible says the world will know that we are the children of God. Jesus has shown us the way of love through His life and through His word. We need to develop a love relationship with God and allow God's love to flow through. Blessings Ambrose Francis
