Leviticus‬ ‭2‬:‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“And every offering of your grain offering you shall season with salt; you shall not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be lacking from your grain offering. With all your offerings you shall offer salt.”

Salt speaks of preservation, incorruption, and purification. Salt is also used as a symbol for making a covenant to agree and unite for life.

Adding salt to all the offerings speaks of the ingredients that make the offerings worthy of acceptance.

Every offering needs to be offered with salt. Without it, it will not be an acceptable offering.

In the same way, Jesus is our preservation, purification, incorruption, and our covenant. Without Him, everything we do is not acceptable to God the Father.

This is the reason we are called to live in Him, move in Him and have our being in Him.

Without Him in our lives is an offering without salt. It will decay, defile, and be destroyed.

But our life with Jesus is a life that is a season to be preserved for eternity, undefiled and a sweet-smelling offering to our Father in heaven.

We cannot serve and live life without Jesus for He is the one who makes everything we do acceptable to our Father in heaven.

We live by the grace of God. Jesus purified us with His own blood and made us to be the salt and the light of this world.

We are now agents of Jesus to bring His kingdom and His domain back to this earth.

We are now to function in Christ by His power to seek and save the lost. So that we can save souls from being destroyed.

Let us season our lives by living in Jesus, walking in His holiness, power, and love.
