Simon the sorcerer not only wanted to pay money to have the gift of God, he also wanted it so that he could be powerful for wrong motives.

To have a part in the kingdom is to be a blessing to one another, it is to flow out the goodness of God.

To have a heart that is right in the sight of God is to live life walking in His ways according to His image and likeness.

We are all born again into God's image and in His likeness. We have been given great and precious promises to minister as children of the most high God.

When Christ lit our life with His Holy Spirit, we became the light of God so that we can shine our light for all to see the way, the truth and the life.

We do not need to worry about ourselves or for our needs. Perhaps the reason Simon wanted the gift is because he no longer practised sorcery and was worried about his next income.

In God, we will never lack, and His provision has been prepared for us who believe in Him. All we need to do is to follow Him.

Let us stand with the right heart before the Lord and serve Him with gladness for we are blessed to have Christ as our Lord and Saviour.
