1 Corinthians9:2 NKJV

If I am not an apostle to others, yet doubtless I am to you. For you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord. 1Corinthians9:2 NKJV

Paul is showing an example of kingdom leadership. As an apostle, he doesn't ride on his rights of apostleship with regard to his needs.

As an apostle, he has the right to be supported in the ministry and his needs but that is not how Paul led his ministry.

Paul's leadership stands totally in the grace of God and not the responsibility of the people he served.

Paul taught the people that we need to take care of one another not because it is a duty or right of a person, but we take care of one another out of love.

It is a powerful principle Paul is showing that the end result is far more important than the immediate needs.

For Paul, his success is reflected in people whom he raised to maturity and not just in numbers.

Yet Paul is not discarding the responsibilities of the people he ministered to. He encouraged them to do it unto the Lord.

If we neglect our basic responsibility of taking care of one another in the kingdom, how can we take care of bigger things in the kingdom of God?

Let us continue to grow in maturity and strengthen each other to display Christ in every area of our lives.

Blessings
