‭‭Psalms‬ ‭24:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭24:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This is a call to lift ourselves up in the Lord, to lift our eyes and mind to the great I Am.

For God has given us a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Therefore, we need to lift up our eyes to all the things God is doing and see them come to pass.

Many things can cause our heads to bow down and be discouraged but greater things God has in store for His children.

The enemy thought that Daniel was finally thrown into the lion’s den, when the enemy finally thought he has destroyed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego and when the enemy thought that Job’s possessions were wiped out. Yet God not only restored far greater blessings but caused the whole nation to bow and worship Him.

We need to lift up our heads because the battle is the Lord’s and God has never lost a battle.

If the psalmist who lived in the old covenant can lift up their heads and praise the Lord in their circumstances, how much more we who have Jesus Christ living in us.

We have the key to the door that opens up the kingdom of God into our circumstances and our situations.

Therefore, let us be bold and courageous in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Let us continue to lift our whole life in the Lord, walking in the spirit and seeing the glory of God manifest before our enemies.
