“not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”

The word of God encourages us to hold fast to our faith in Christ Jesus and keep pressing in till His coming.

The way to stay steadfast is to be part of His body, gatherings or assemblies of believers.

Forsaking the assembly will rob us the fellowship to mature, to sharpen and to be equipped for the kingdom of God.

The early church meets not only once a week but daily. Some of the places I have ministered, the whole village starts their day at the church and then they move on to their work places.

Jesus is building His church and we are His people. Therefore, we must not give any excuses but make every effort, sacrifice and investment to be part of His fellowship.

The occasional visit, only go when we feel like it and wanting to isolate is not what God wants from us.

We all have a gift inside of us that when we gather, we can share and inspire each other to win the lost, heal the sick, cast out evil spirits in Jesus Name and preach the gospel of the kingdom of God.

Exhorting each other, encouraging and empowering so that all will accomplish God’s purpose in their lives.

When the day approaches, we want to be part of the army of God together and not isolated individuals that is not part of the church that Jesus is building.

Let us be part of God’s assembly and continue to position ourselves for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ by preaching the gospel of the kingdom to the ends of the earth.
