Galatians 5:5 NKJV

For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

Galatians 5:5 NKJV

Paul taught the Galatian believers not to fall back to the trap of following the law to gain righteousness. The Judaizers were trying to bring the Galatian believers to follow the law.

Paul taught that we live by faith in what Christ has done for us. We work the works Christ has accomplished by faith until we meet Jesus on judgment day.

Paul taught that we, through the spirit, should take everything that Jesus has established by the spirit to live by.

It is a gift to all mankind.

Now as a spirit man, we all live by faith until it is all revealed on the last day when Jesus appears to the world.

Many would want to bring us back to the law to be bound by it. They do that because they exalt the work of the flesh above the finished work of Christ.

They want to prove their holiness because of their sacrifice and their dedication. But we in Christ live in the proof of His promises and by the sacrifices that Jesus has made for all mankind.

Therefore, we must not be deceived by living in the law of the old covenant but start living in the new law that is of the spirit and life in Christ Jesus.

We work out the gifts by faith in the spirit and move by faith in the spirit fulfilling all that God had prepared for us all.

Let us live by faith and not by the law that condemns.

Let's fix our eyes, mind and heart on Jesus all the days of our lives.

Blessings
