Therefore, because the king’s command was urgent, and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego.

An amazing account of three Hebrew men whose faith in God was unshakable till the end had left the nation to turn to the Lord.

We can clearly see that no weapon that was formed against these three Hebrew young men prospered. For they believed God in their storm and the storm became their stepping stone for their reward.

The storm that came over these Hebrew young men have prepared them and their nation to see the glory of God.

They stayed strong in their faith in God through the storm. They were not after the rewards but they were after God. If they were for the rewards, they would have bowed to the king and that would saved their lives.

We must realise that when we are journeying with God, believing His promises and following His way, the storm will not kill us but make us and mould us to display God's glory through us.

Don't worry about the accusers, persecutors and the troublemakers. The fire will consume them and not us.

The very fire they throw at us will burn them. The very gallow the enemy put for us will be for the enemy to be hanged in defeat.

We must believe that no matter what may come our way, it will not destroy us because we are in Christ.

Let us continue to believe and stand against every storm of life by holding on to the promises of God.
