Psalms 145:5 NKJV
BLESSED New Year.
I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, and on Your wondrous works.
Psalms 145:5 NKJV
David praised the Lord and spoke of how great and mighty is His God. He meditated on every act of God through the word and through every 'God encounters' he had.
By meditating on those things, David is renewing his mind from an earthly perspective to a heavenly perspective.
The more he sees the God of wonders and the God of the impossible is with him, the more stronger his faith becomes and the more confident he is to put his complete trust in God Almighty.
Through Christ we have been begotten as sons of God.
When we meditate on the greatness of our Father in heaven, we begin to know who our Father in Heaven really is and what are His capabilities.
By doing so, we are looking at what God has made us to be " in His image and likeness".
This then creates awareness of who we really are. As we see our Father in heaven, we see what we are made of and discover the abilities we have in Christ.
The more we look at the Almighty God, the more we incline to live like Him and the more we reflect God to the world.
God's promise that the latter rain will be greater than the former. It's time we get ready by looking unto Jesus who is the Author of our life.
For greater things to take place through our lives, we need to keep our eyes on the greatest One, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Blessings
