Hebrews 13:16 NKJV

But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Hebrews 13:16 NKJV

Jesus Christ, our Lord, is a Giver. He has given, giving and will continue to give. That is God's nature towards His children.

And as Christ is, so are we here in this world. The character of giving and sharing is not something we do here and there when it's convenient but it is a lifestyle of Christ in us.

We don't have to be religious to pray about sharing and caring. There are things we pray about but to care and share should come naturally. Jesus has made us capable and able to share and care.

The meaning of doing good here is in the context of a local gathering of believers caring for each other by meeting each other's needs.

The church is a support group where we can bring our strength together and get help in our weaknesses.

As iron sharpens iron, we sharpen each other in the grace and power as we all have received from the Lord.

It is a good reminder. When the situation forced us to be closed up together, then we discover the beauty in each other and that is when the true communion of the Lord takes place with each other.

Let us continue to build this characteristic of the Lord in our heart and mind by exercising it with each other so that we can build a loving and caring atmosphere for our next generation.

Blessings
