Acts 18:13 NKJV
saying, “This fellow persuades men to worship God contrary to the law.”
Acts 18:13 NKJV
Paul was teaching the truth and revealing the promises of God that sets people free.
On the contrary, instead of being appreciated and honoured, Paul was persecuted for something that is of great benefit to the people.
There were times Paul left and moved on yet at other times he waited patiently.
This is a great example of Paul leaning on the Holy Spirit to lead him.
We too need to be guided and be led by the Holy Spirit.
We cannot just wait for the applause of men but must be prepared to handle persecution, hardship and long-suffering.
When things go wrong in our life, it is not necessarily because we are out of God's will. In fact, it might be totally opposite.
We must learn to embrace the true test of our faith by standing in the promises of God, holding on and spreading the good news to all mankind.
The enemy would want to discourage us from serving in the truth but we must be united in the Lord and His purpose.
The enemy loves to trick people with a self-centred ambition that steals the place of God.
We can be stronger in Christ, staying united in Him and move in the supernatural power of God.
Let us build our lives in Christ so that we can face every challenge and persecution that comes our way.
