Kampung Giring is in the interior of Ranau, Sabah. It is surrounded by thick forest. There is no roads, no connectivity, no running water and no electricity supply to this area.

2016, Pastor Ambrose lead a team to plant a church in this small village in the interior of Ranau, Sabah.
The villagers lead a very simple life of planting vegetables and padi for their own consumption and the tap rubber for a little cash. They do fish occasionally for some protein.
This village has no roads. The team reach the village thru the river or a one hour hike.

It is a 3 hours off-road journey, followed by a sampan ride which is a small boat to reach this village. If the current is too strong, the team will do a one hour hike in.
At the start of the 3 hours off-road, we would not have connectivity.
