Mark‬ ‭4‬:‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble.”

‭‭Mark‬ ‭4‬:‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus explained the parables to His disciples. In these verses, He talked about the seed that fell on stony ground.

Those who hear the word of God on a surface level are those who hear the truth but do not persevere to keep it through the test of time.

The word of God needs to take root in our lives. We need to nurture it by believing, seeing, and speaking it over our life again and again until it becomes part of us.

There are too many who turn away from the great things God had prepared because they cannot stand the test of time.

Their value of the word is lesser than their own wants and desires. They give up even after seeing the blessings of growth.

Therefore, we need to keep standing in God and in His word no matter what comes our way.

When God speaks to us, we need to speak the same thing to our lives, again and again, no matter what the circumstances may look like.

Every miracle that Jesus performed turned something bad into good, from death to life, and from sickness to health.

If the situation is bad, we must not speak about the situation but speak God’s word and call those things that are not as though they are.

We turn the situation around by speaking the power of God’s word and creating what needs to be created.

Meditating on what God has spoken is crucial in growing the word of God in our lives.

When the test comes, we all can stand strong in His word and defeat the storms of life in Jesus name.

Let us give ear to the truth and let no one hinder us from living in God.

Blessings
