Paul is encouraging the followers of Christ to continue to live for God by spreading the gospel and making disciples regardless of what happens to him.

Every tribulation that we go through is a benefit for our growth in Christ.

When faith is tested, it proves our standing in Christ and His teachings. It proves that we do not live in hypocrisy. We not only say it and confess it but actually live it.

People can say many things about what they believe but only when their belief is put to the test then only will they know where their heart really is.

Every tribulation that we go through should anchor us deeper in Christ and should become an encouragement to each other.

This is the very example Paul leaves for all of us who believes in Jesus Christ, that we don't stop no matter what comes our way.

He keeps spreading the gospel by training and raising leaders through his letters and through his leadership.

This is something we as leaders and those being discipled need to learn that behind every tribulation we go through there will always be something good that will come out of it.

Let's keep our eyes on Jesus and press through every tribulation that comes our way.
