“Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”

When the disciples were baptised in the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, Peter stood up and preached the gospel and what they heard cut to their hearts and they were saved.

Peter who denied Jesus, who ran away and hid was changed by the power of the Holy Spirit and truth that he had seen.

The knowledge that Peter had about Jesus have become flesh in him and that truth have cut Peter's heart. Therefore, that day when Peter preached, those who heard were cut to their hearts.

The word of God and the power of His Spirit changes the intent of our hearts and shapes us into the image of Christ.

Fear has lost its grip on Peter's life because Peter had not only the knowledge of Jesus Christ but had become one with Him through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We need to let the word of God cut and shape us into God’s image and likeness. We are ready to change from the inside out.

When the word of God starts to cut our hearts, it will start cutting others. God’s word is a double-edged sword, if it cuts us, surely it will cut others.

When we give attention to the Holy Spirit and God’s word to shape us, then when we speak to others, it will start shaping them.

The knowledge and power of God have changed Peter’s focus from himself to Jesus.

This is not the Peter who denied, cursed and ran away to hide. This is the Peter who is living in Christ and in Christ's righteousness.

When we speak the truth of who Jesus is by the power of His Spirit, people would be set free and be saved.

Let’s keep preaching Jesus to the lost with the power of His Spirit and see souls coming into the kingdom of God.
