Isaiah 32:18 NKJV
“My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, In secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places,”
Isaiah 32:18 NKJV
At the end of a peaceful, prosperous time for Israel, Isaiah spoke in preparation for the future that in the natural the days will be full of calamities.
The Bible also talks about how in the last days there will be wars, rumours of wars, earthquakes, and so on.
My people will dwell in peace written here is not talking about God’s people will find a new earthly place to live in peace but to live in a dimension that is not of this world but of God.
This habitation is speaking about His presence, His kingdom, and living in His supernatural peace.
Isaiah spoke about God’s people who will be living in His peace in the midst of terror.
God’s people can dwell in security, to be at peace, and rest in the power and love of God.
There is a kingdom that the enemy cannot touch, a kingdom full of peace and no power can shake the foundation.
That is the kingdom of God. This peace, security, and rest cannot be found anywhere else except in Christ Jesus our Lord.
He sent us His Holy Spirit to dwell in us and He revealed to us what Jesus has done for us.
The only quiet resting place is in Christ Jesus and to rest in what Christ has accomplished for us.
This is our inheritance in Christ, we need to believe it, speak it, and put it into practice daily in our lives.
We change our thinking, our words and beliefs from the world to what God has done for us.
Let us all rest, be at peace, and dwell in this unshakeable place in Christ.
Blessings
