“But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.”

‭‭John‬ ‭16‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When Jesus told His disciples that He would be going back to the Father, sorrow filled their hearts.

Because in the natural they all have left everything and their community, to follow the teachings of Jesus.

They had every reason to be filled not only with sorrow but perhaps with disappointment, confusion, and feeling lost.

Today, we all know that if Jesus did not go back to the Father, He could not send the Holy Spirit to be in us.

Jesus going back to the Father is a must in order for each one of us to be His dwelling place.

Everything about God is good news even though it may NOT look like it in the natural.

This is the reason we cannot put our trust in our five senses. Instead, we have to put our trust in God and His promises.

Because Jesus has gone to the Father, now He can live in each believer across the world at the same time.

That cannot be done if Jesus still lives today in His earthly form.

Everything that God has spoken will come to pass.

So the kingdom of heaven that needs to be established here on earth is set by Jesus but the one who spreads that Kingdom here on earth is His followers.

We can be the hands and feet of Jesus to all mankind.

We all can display Christ's power because He is now in each one of us by His Spirit.

The disciples should be filled with joy for the possibility of Jesus living in them at all times.

Therefore, let us believe every word that Jesus has spoken to us for it is for our benefit and for our own growth.
