Luke 23:23 NKJV
“But they were insistent, demanding with loud voices that He be crucified. And the voices of these men and of the chief priests prevailed.”
Luke 23:23 NKJV
When Jesus was put on trial and was accused by the Pharisees and religious people, they prevailed over justice.
Pilate had concluded that Jesus had no crime to be punished but the confession of the people crucified Jesus.
Death and life are in the power of our tongue. What was declared was death.
Words have power over actions. It changes the direction of our actions according to the words that we speak.
We are where we are mostly because of the confessions that have come out of our beliefs.
When fear stares at our faces, what comes out of our mouths?
When sickness tries to take residence in our body, what do we speak?
When situations surround our life, business, work and family, what do we confess?
Things change when our confession changes. But confession comes out of what we know to be true.
Knowing the truth causes us to confess the right thing and see the right results.
To know God and His promises towards us is key to confessing our future.
Are we giving life to the right things? Are we watering the seeds God has planted in our lives through Christ?
God’s kingdom has been set for us to function through it. Therefore, let us confess according to what Christ has made us to be.
