‭‭James‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.”

‭‭James‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

In a congregation of believers, if anyone is sick, they are to call for the elders who will pray the prayer of faith and heal them.

As believers, we are to reach out to one another when we need the support to stand on God’s promises.

It is important that we don’t call the complainers, doubters, or story tellers.

Prayer was a request in the old covenant but prayer is the execution in the new covenant.

Prayer in the old covenant is about getting from God, prayer in the new Covenant is about giving something from God.

This is because in Christ we have received everything. Therefore, we become givers, as an ambassador of His kingdom.

The prayer of faith is a prayer of those who believe they have it before seeing in the natural.

The way we pray will reflect about where we are concerning our position in God.

Our prayer will tell us if we are a son or a slave.

Our prayer will reflect the relationship we have with Him.

The Bible talks about prayer. All kinds of prayer yet it also says that the effective prayer of a righteous man avails much.

It means all of our prayers are to be of faith, having before seeing.

Therefore, we come together to pray with thanksgiving that healing is already ours.

Let us reach out to one another to pray for one another, in faith believing that at the end all is well in Christ.

Blessings
