‭‭Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬

“But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬

Zachariah and Elizabeth are people who walked according to the law. They did their best to walk righteously before God.

They have prayed and desired to have a child. But at this time, both were well advanced in age and Elizabeth was barren.

The angel of God appeared and announced that their prayers were answered and Elizabeth was going to be pregnant.

Instead of rejoicing and thanking God, Zachariah flipped the switch and said how can this be.

Yet he served the God of the impossible and the God who has performed wonderful miracles in the desert and in Egypt.

Interestingly, this is not something only Zachariah concluded but this trend still goes on in our lives today.

We know that God has won the victory, and we know that God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing, yet we question, but how can this thing be, seeing where I am today.

What happened was that we took our steps to the old, incapable, weak and poor me mentality instead of stepping into who we now have become in Christ.

Believers are constantly stepping in and out of the new identity Christ has given to us.

We should REMAIN in the identity Christ has given to us and fight every other view away from our sight.

Confessing who we have become will give life to our mortal body to live the immortal power of God.

Now, in Christ, we have the same power and the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead.

Let us rise in Him every day, live through Him every day and display His glory every day.

Blessings
