Titus 2:12 NKJV

teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,

Titus 2:12 NKJV

As a mature child of God, we grow from grace to grace. Maturity is growing in the strength of God's grace every day.

As a mature believer, we build our spiritual resistance towards the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life.

We develop our spiritual muscles and spiritual mind by exercising the power and grace of God, overcoming every temptation and desires of the flesh by God's grace.

To be sober in God is to speak, live and do as what Christ has done for us. It is to live, move and have our being in Him.

To live righteously is to be in right standing with God, living life according to what Christ has done for us.

Live godly.

Live in His image.

Live in His likeness.

Choose to discard every feeling that is according to the flesh and decide to live according to God.

What the world needs today is for the people of God who would stand for the truth and live as Christ has ordained us to live.

Let us grow in maturity by standing strong in God, unshaken no matter what people say or do.

Stand on a firm foundation which is Jesus Christ.

Blessings

Ambrose Francis
