Hebrews 11:27 NKJV
“By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.”
Hebrews 11:27 NKJV
The first thing that is important to see is that Moses forsook Egypt. Moses could see God’s plans but the first generation of Israelites could not see because they did not forsake Egypt.
To forsake means to renounce or turn away from something. In this case, Moses renounced and turned away from everything that is of Egypt but the Israelites didn’t.
The second thing is that Moses did not fear the king of Egypt because He acknowledged the God who commanded him is greater than the king.
Moses acknowledged the word of God is more powerful than the most powerful king on the earth at that time.
The third thing is that Moses endured because he kept seeing the invisible God.
Moses kept fixing his eyes on God and His word which made him so bold facing the most powerful king at that time.
We too need to forsake the world as citizens of this kingdom by embracing the invisible kingdom of God.
We need not fear any form of power or authority that tries to stand against God.
In Christ, we have received perfect love that casts out all fear. Therefore, we can be bold and confident without fear.
We believe that we are a citizen of the kingdom of God and are appointed by God to function as kingdom ambassadors on this earth.
As His ambassador, we are protected by God’s kingdom, surrounded by the invisible army that is far more than any forces of the earth.
We must not let our feelings, our emotions or our human reasoning get in the way of our identity and personality as an ambassador of God’s kingdom.
We must stay focused on the word of God and carry out doing what God has said.
Let us be vigilant as citizens of heaven, walk in love and believe in the invisible kingdom of God to fix the visible world.
Blessings
