The psalmist begins with a declaration that I love the Lord because He has heard my voice and supplications.
The psalmist had a reason to love the Lord because God is packed with goodness beyond man’s imagination.
In the new covenant, Jesus reveals that all these things HAVE BEEN PROVIDED for even before we ask.
Jesus reveals that He is the good Shepherd, the light, the way, the truth and life.
In the new covenant, Jesus became our provision for life. For in Him we are complete.
Our love for God comes from a heart of gratitude, that God would give His life to save us and to bless us.
We love God because He has laid down everything for us and He is a faithful God.
The goodness of God reaches us even when we don’t deserve it, His love is sealed in us by His Spirit.
Looking at all that Jesus has done for us moves us automatically to love Him back.
When we truly know Jesus, we can’t stop loving Him and live in His presence.
We participate in His true love, we are changed according to His love and we manifest His love to the world.
Let us continue to grow in loving God because what He has done for us is far beyond what we could ever know.
