‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭11‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“Now I have become foolish; you have forced me [by questioning my apostleship]. Actually I should have been commended by you [instead of being treated disdainfully], for I was not inferior to those super-apostles, even if I am nobody.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭11‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Paul did not need to spend time to defend his integrity and his apostleship because these are the churches he started and pioneered.

The Corinthians should have been the ones defending Paul and his apostleship. Instead, they were influenced by the false leaders and questioned him.

It is easy to be persuaded by people if we don’t have a strong foundation or keep company with different ideologies.

We need to be faithful in building ourselves on the right foundation that Jesus laid.

For many will come as in the days of Paul to draw people away from the truth and challenge the people who brought the truth of the gospel.

People can turn so quickly and harden their hearts towards the truth if they give an ear to

self-righteousness and works that puff themselves up.

Therefore, it is important that we keep following Jesus and be faithful in His ways so that we are not moved by the false apostles.

Treasure people who will exalt Jesus.

Treasure people who are passionate about God’s kingdom and who want to follow after Christ.

Let us honour God, appreciate and value the works Jesus has accomplished for us and live in them.

Blessings
