II Corinthians 5:2 NKJV
“For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven,”
II Corinthians 5:2 NKJV
This verse is a continuation from the previous chapter where Paul is speaking about the unseen Kingdom of God.
Paul said that we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven.
This groaning is the passion to be able to fully live out our heavenly image in this earthly body.
Therefore, our full potential to live, to fulfil the perfect will of God can be achieved if we choose to live according to our heavenly image.
This image has been restored to us by Christ Jesus when He gave us His life, His power and His authority so that we can walk as a heavenly being in this world.
The first conclusion that we have to agree on is that we are a spiritual being created in the image of God.
As a spiritual being and as citizens of heaven, we are ruled by the King of kings.
Therefore as citizens and ambassadors of the unseen kingdom, we are to reign on earth and establish His kingdom.
Let us fix our eyes on the things of heaven and walk in the supernatural power of God.
