Joshua 1:9 NKJV
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 NKJV
God gave some instructions to Joshua. He encouraged and built him to possess the promised land. The Lord told him to be strong and courageous. Life will bring about many circumstances. Some are good and some may be bad but both have the potential to derail us from the destiny that God has prepared for us. God is not asking Joshua to be strong and courageous just randomly with everything, but with the promises of God. Visions are birthed and dreams are fulfilled by keeping our eyes and mind on the promises of God. We are not to be dismayed. We are not to be stressed out or panic by the situation that comes our way. We must not be shaken but firmly stand strong in the Lord. We live in the new covenant with promises that is sealed by the blood of Jesus. With His resurrection power, we are to thrive and prosper in every aspect of our lives. We are to move in His power and in His might. We need to stand firm knowing that God who calls us is faithful to do it. There is no reason for us to be shaken nor to be dismayed when we have the Creator of the world living and residing in us. Let us take our place as sons and daughters of the most high God and possess our land for Jesus our Lord. Blessings
