I Timothy‬ ‭2:2‬ ‭NKJV

“for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.” ‭‭I Timothy‬ ‭2:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

We as believers have been empowered by God with the resources of His kingdom so that we can establish it on earth. As Jesus taught us to pray “Your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven”, the power to establish heaven here on earth is in the believers' lips. Like prophet Ezekiel speaking to dry bones, calling them to be living and raise an army out of it that declares the praises to our God, so must we speak forth here on earth. The system of this world needs to change to the system of the kingdom of God. This will only happen if we as believers take our place to speak forth the kingdom of God into every system in this world. Paul’s encouragement is for us all to take our place with one voice, one heart and one mind, to speak forth the kingdom of Heaven into the lives of leaders in our cities, nations and the world. Life and death are being released in the world every day. We who have the life of God, are we speaking life as much as death is speaking? We should, and much more. As believers who are packed with the life of God, we need to take our place seriously to speak forth the kingdom of God every day. Starting from the head of the family right through every leadership in our country and world. The state of our country is also dependant on how we as believers pray. This is our responsibility, this is our call. If we want to see a peaceful, God-fearing nation then every believer needs to pray for every leader of our nation to embrace the Kingdom of God and every system of our nations be replaced by the system of the Kingdom of God. What do we pray? We speak forth that the minds of corruption be changed to the mind of Christ, the heart of greed be changed to the heart of our Father in heaven. We pray that instead of selfishness, self-centred, pride and control leaders will be flowing with the grace, mercy and true love as Christ loved us. We pray for God-loving leaders that will honour God, love God and love the people that they govern. This is our call as a believer and let us start today by blessing, praying and speaking into our leaders the word of life in Jesus Name.

Blessings
