Mark‬ ‭7:15‬ ‭NKJV

“There is nothing that enters a man from outside which can defile him; but the things which come out of him, those are the things that defile a man.” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭7:15‬ ‭NKJV
The Pharisees love to find faults and love to condemn others to show that they are better than others. The Pharisees were asking Jesus why His followers don’t wash their hand according to tradition before eating? Jesus answered them by revealing the condition of their hearts. They twist and turn the commandments to display a false state of their lives doing external things while internally they are hypocrites. Jesus clearly says that what comes out of us is what matters to God. The Bible declares that out of the abundance of his heart the mouth speaks. If evil and condemnation, murmur and complaints is what always comes out of our lives. It’s an indication of what is inside of us. We need to check what kind of resources is being stored up on the inside. What value are we holding on to and what practices are we holding dear in our lives? We need to fill our lives with the pure words of Jesus and His commandments. We need to be saturated with His love, truth and grace. This is so that when we open our mouth, God’s living water will begin to flow out. It is the water that washes away every filth, sickness, disease and will make the crooked parts straight. So that the King of kings and Lord of lords will see His children wearing the garments of His praise and His glory. Let us put aside the tradition of men and behold the Word, the Spirit and life of God in us. Blessings
