Micah 7:7 ESVb
“But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.”
Micah 7:7 ESVb
The book of Micah is a prophetic book about Jesus and His kingdom that He will establish. It was written more than seven hundred years ago before Christ.
It was a book that speaks of the rejection of people, disobedience, judgment, and the coming of God’s kingdom here on earth.
Therefore, there is always a remnant of the Lord who look unto Him in the midst of all the evil and judgments that have taken place.
Today we hear about Jesus and have the opportunity to believe in Him because someone held on to the Almighty God in the most perverse generation.
They never knew the blessings they have become for just believing and holding on to the promises of God.
What they waited for, what they longed for, and what they gave their lives for is what we have in Christ Jesus.
Today we no longer have to wait, for we live in Him.
We no longer need to long for it as we have become children of God and heirs of the kingdom.
The journey must go on. As our forefathers looked upon God and His promises, we need to journey by looking unto Jesus so that the next generation can experience this marvellous life in God.
No matter how evil the world may become, the greater light of God will shine through His people.
Today we can move and have our being in Christ Jesus, living in the abundance of God.
Let us hold on, press on, and keep sharing Jesus and all that He has done so that the next generation can taste the goodness of God.
Blessings
