“as you also learned from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf,”

Paul was blessed to have a fellow servant who carried the vision and passion for God’s kingdom. He is faithful and fervent in the Lord.

Paul raised many leaders for the kingdom of God and it is a joy for him to have someone whom he can call his fellow dear servant, giving equal honour and respect in doing the work of God.

Everyone is different in the way we preach, and teach and our personality is very different from each other but we all have the same message to deliver, and the same objective to display Christ-likeness.

Paul raised many like him to do the work of the ministry. He said imitate me as I imitate Christ.

It is always good to have a good spiritual coach with whom we constantly take on advice and with whom we learn to kick-start our life in God.

Those who want to do it alone in the start will miss an opportunity of the support system that God has put together - as iron sharpens iron.

In our pursuit of wanting to be authentic in our personality, sometimes we miss out on the grace of fathering that God has raised.

Submitting and learning from godly men and women is so powerful and it is something people look for in the early church.

Somehow we have not embraced the grace of mentoring in our churches today which will help to shape the next generation for the kingdom of God.

Let us find and give ourselves to be mentored under godly leadership that will bring out the best in each one of us.
