Mark 4:28 NKJV
“For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head.”
Mark 4:28 NKJV
Jesus is teaching us the principles of growth and success. Since we have received every resource that we need to live life to the fullness, here is the application for it.
The earth yields crops by itself.
The earth has the capacity to bring about any plants, but the seed must be sown.
Jesus gave us the picture that our Father in heaven is a gardener who produces fertile soil.
Each one of us is the fertile soil in Christ. We are ready to produce fruits in our lives.
The first thing we need to do is start planting seeds of God’s word. If we need an apple tree we have to go and find apple seeds.
In the same way, if we want to see growth in our lives, that seed needs to be planted. We need to search the scriptures and find those seeds and start planting them into our hearts and minds.
We need to start meditating on it, renew our minds with that word, and speak it no matter what the situation looks like.
It is a process where the seed produces the blade and then the head and then the full grain that can be consumed.
We cannot rush growth.
We need to be patient, and we need perseverance and endurance. This will give the blade time to form and after some time, the head forms. Then after some time, we will have the fruit of it.
We need to learn to sow seeds of God’s word into our lives, rehearsing it day and night until we see the full fruit of it.
Success does not come overnight.
It needs to be cultivated, it takes time to grow and finally, we will enjoy the fullness of life.
Let us start sowing seeds of God’s word and begin to change the landscape of our lives.
Blessings
