I Samuel 17:35 NKJV
“I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it.”
I Samuel 17:35 NKJV
David was accused falsely to be at the battlefield, he was mocked and belittled
by his brother.
He did not let that take his focus off the important thing in His life, His God and be bold to represent God to the heathen.
David who is not armoured yet bold to stand against the man of war and the giant that caused all Israel to be in dreadful fear.
He told the King that he will defeat this giant the way he killed the lion and the bear.
David was not shaken by his senses. He did not let his eyes or ears be consumed by the giant that is on the outside.
David saw the God who lives in him who is far greater than the giants out there before him.
David saw the faithfulness of God that covers, protects and delivers everyone who trusts in Him.
He just applied the same principles of trusting God in facing this great giant.
We too need to rise in God and really believe that God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, far above all that we could ever ask or think.
We should not pay attention to something that brings in fear. We should pay attention to God and His promises that brings faith into our lives.
Though the size of the problem and challenges are different from each other, but it is the same power of God that is above all powers that delivers them all.
Let us trust God in bringing down giants in our lives. Let us be bold to step up to the front line and believe God for the deliverance.
Blessings
